For countless generations, the people of Newfoundland and Labrador have relied on our forest resources for their existence, livelihood and way of life. Today, those same forests play a vital role in the rural economy of our province and to the overall well being of our residents. The future of Newfoundland and Labrador’s forest industry depends on the long-term health and sustainability of our forest resources.
